My Journey

Updated: Mar 13, 2021

I don't know who can relate, but this last year has derailed my motivation and left me in a state of funk, with both of nutrition and fitness. If you have read the "my story" section you know that I found love in all things fitness and nutrition. About 9 years ago I started my fitness journey without looking back and 4 years ago, I started my nutrition journey by counting macros and being 110% invested in my training. Even during life's obstacle and challenges I remained focused. But this past year has been trying, and well.... really hard.

Even though I didn't completely let myself go, I was eating more less nutritious foods, drinking alcohol more, and some weeks just going through the motions at the gym. This declaration doesn't make me any less of a nutrition coach, but a more valuable one. I understand what it's like to have periods of weakness, lack of motivation, and the desire to get "back at it".

I decided that the time is now. I calculated my own macronutrients to get 150g protein/65g fat/ 193g carbs. This is based on my goals, activity level, and current training regiment. Check out this guide if you want to learn the ins and out of flexible dieting.

Follow me on my journey as I resume counting macros. I will discuss struggles and successes; challenges and triumphs; as well as provide tricks and tips that you can incorporate into your own life.

"It's all about nutrition. You can train, train, train all you want but I always say you can't out train a bad diet"
