Day 3 of flexible dieting

Updated: Mar 13, 2021

I caught myself having another egg sandwich last night. I forgot that it could be a pleasant surprise, having extra macros at the end of the night to have a little something extra.

It's the start of day 3, and the last few days have gone well. I weighed in at 147.6 on Tuesday morning and now down to 144.6. This pretty significant drop in weight is mostly water weight, and my body is reverting to a homeostasis state after 1, not eating well for a while, and 2, drinking a whole bottle of Scout & Cellar Clean-Crafted™ wine on Valentine's Day😬.

Even though it is Clean-Crafted ™, meaning no added sugars, chemicals, dyes, or other additives, it is still alcohol, and your body can retain water.

Did you know that your weight can fluctuate 2-5lbs on any given day? That's why it is so important not to judge progress solely on the number on the scale but rather to take pictures, body measurements, energy levels, sleep patterns, and gym progress.

Not just that, but males naturally have a higher metabolism than females. The average guy can lose an average of 1-1.5lbs/per week of fat loss, while females are more like .5-1lbs/per week. But this slow and steady decline in weight is an indication that it is actually fat loss and not anything else.
